Alina was born and raised in Kiev, Ukraine, where she also got her first stage experience at the age of 8 years old.  After emmigration to the United States in 2000 and after some short period of adaptation to her new home and various survaval jobs, she was back on track with taking acting classes all over again, and started to work in theaters and films.
